About This Access Site
Located in South Williamsport, the West Branch Motor Club provides boat launch access to the West Branch Susquehanna River and the 652-acre Hepburn Street Dam. This is the only marina facility on the West Branch, offering a dedicated ramp for kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. The site includes amenities such as a clubhouse, bathrooms, and picnic pavilions. Motorboats must display current boat registration.

The club operates on a membership basis, with associate memberships available for $115 per season, which includes ramp access, parking, and use of facilities. This location provides an excellent starting point for exploring the West Branch, whether you're looking for day paddles on the calm waters behind Hepburn Street Dam or embarking on longer river trips. Paddlers interested in the full Susquehanna Greenway water trail can access detailed segment maps and paddle suggestions online, or purchase waterproof river trail maps on-site. Consider joining the West Branch Paddle Club for community connections and additional resources.
