About This Access Site
West Falmouth Harbor Landing offers a convenient public access point to West Falmouth Harbor and Buzzards Bay. Located off Route 28A on Old Dock Road in Falmouth, this town-managed facility features a single-lane concrete ramp with floats on both sides to assist with loading and unloading. The ramp is accessible at all tide levels, making it reliable for launch and retrieval throughout the day. There is no launch fee, and the facility can accommodate up to 30 boat trailers, though parking fills quickly during peak season.

This is an ideal spot for kayakers, canoeists, and small to medium-sized boat operators looking to explore West Falmouth Harbor's protected waters and venture into Buzzards Bay. The nearby town dock allows small boat owners to tie up dinghies for extended harbor access. The area is well-suited for recreational fishing, with striped bass, bluefish, and fluke commonly found in local waters. Nearby attractions include the Waquoit Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve and the scenic Cape Cod Canal pathway system for additional outdoor recreation.
