About This Access Site
**Location & Access:**
Whalom Lake's public boat ramp is conveniently located in Leominster on the western shore, accessible via Whalom Road to Lake Front Avenue to Lake Side Avenue. The site features a well-maintained concrete ramp managed by the City of Leominster, making it an easy entry point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats.

**Parking & Facilities:**
The access area offers ample parking with capacity for 21-40 vehicles, plus designated spaces for boat trailers. Note that the ramp is strictly for boat access only and cannot be used to enter the area after hours—plan your visit accordingly. Shore fishing is also popular along the road parallel to the western shore if you're interested in combining water activities with fishing.

**What to Know:**
Whalom Lake is a popular recreational destination with heavy use, so arriving early during peak season is recommended to secure parking. The nearby Oxbow National Wildlife Refuge offers additional recreation opportunities in the area, making this a good base for exploring Worcester County's water resources.
