About This Access Site
White Oak III is a public access point on Lake Marion located approximately 9 miles south of Manning in Clarendon County. The ramp features a single-lane concrete launch with a courtesy dock and fishing pier, making it suitable for kayaks, canoes, and small recreational boats. Gravel parking accommodates 15 vehicles with trailers, though no restroom facilities are available at the site.

To reach White Oak III, take SC Highway 260 south from Manning, then follow County Road 64 (West M. Rickenbaker Road) to County Road 345 (White Oak II Drive), and continue to the end at County Road 600. The proximity to Santee National Wildlife Refuge (15,000 acres) offers paddlers excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing and exploration of scenic waterways in the upper Atlantic Coastal Plain region. Given the limited parking, plan your visit accordingly, especially during peak recreation periods.
