About This Access Site
Wildcat Campground offers direct access to Hyatt Lake, a scenic 806-acre reservoir located in the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument near Lincoln, Oregon. This satellite campground sits 2 miles from the main Hyatt Lake Campground and provides a quieter alternative for paddlers and boaters seeking lake access. The site is situated along the shoreline, making it convenient for launching kayaks, canoes, and other small watercraft onto the calm, protected waters of the reservoir.

The main Hyatt Lake Campground features two dedicated boat ramps with dock facilities, though availability at Wildcat specifically should be confirmed. Day-use access is available on a first-come, first-served basis with permits obtainable at self-service pay stations at the main entrance and Wildcat Campground. Overnight campsites at Wildcat must be reserved in advance through Recreation.gov. Note that the BLM may close Wildcat Campground during summer months for construction projects, so checking current status before your trip is recommended by calling 541-560-3400.
