About This Access Site
Located at the end of Fischer Lane off Crystal Lake Drive on Corvallis's southeast side, Willamette Park offers a concrete boat ramp providing convenient access to the Willamette River. The ramp allows easy launch and retrieval for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. The park features a dock system and is situated in a scenic area where wildlife viewing opportunities abound—watch for osprey and Canada geese nests on transmission towers along the east bank, as well as beaver activity in the surrounding area.

The site serves as an excellent starting point for paddling the Willamette River. The McKenzie River joins the Willamette nearby (RM 175), and more adventurous paddlers can explore upstream options such as Armitage County Park, located about seven miles up the McKenzie. Seasonal boater parking permits are available February through May, which is worth planning around if you're launching during those months. The park also offers additional amenities including a playground, volleyball courts, and other recreational facilities, making it a full-service access point for river enthusiasts.
