About This Access Site
Willisburg Lake is a 126-acre reservoir in Washington County, Kentucky, offering a convenient public boat ramp for paddlers and small boaters. Located off KY 555 north of Springfield (approximately 10 miles), the access point features a boat dock and ramp. The lake has a maximum depth of 44 feet, making it suitable for kayaking, canoeing, and recreational boating. Note that fishing from the boat dock, courtesy dock, or boat ramp is not permitted.

This site is popular with the local fishing community and hosts several tournaments throughout the year. While bank fishing access is limited and requires a fee, the ramp provides straightforward water access for paddlers looking to explore a calm, inland reservoir. The lake's moderate size makes it ideal for recreational paddling without strong currents or significant water flow to manage. Be sure to have directions ready, as KY 555 north of Springfield is the primary access route.
