Wilson Reservoir Recreation Area

Wilson Reservoir Recreation Area in Elko County, Nevada offers a well-developed access point for kayakers, canoeists, and boaters. The site features a 2-lane concrete boat ramp with courtesy dock and paved parking area, making it convenient for launching various watercraft. An accessible, lighted trail begins at the boat ramp and extends to a large bridge at the back of the facility, providing additional recreation opportunities beyond water activities.

The recreation area is a full-service destination with 24 campsites ($10 per vehicle/night), vault toilets, picnic tables, fire rings, and a picnic area. Wilson Reservoir is known as a prime fishing location with a strong perpołudnieature history. The area also features sandy beaches and boat docks, making it suitable for both day trips and extended camping visits. To reach the site, take CR 79 to Point Road, then follow Lakeview Road to the access area.
