About This Access Site
**Location & Access:**
The Wolverine Lake boat ramp is located in Commerce Township, Oakland County, providing access to this 241-acre all-sports lake. The ramp is 16 feet wide and clearly marked by an orange sign visible from the inlet. New paddlers should stay to the right as they exit the inlet to easily locate the launch area.

**What to Expect:**
Wolverine Lake accommodates a variety of watercraft including kayaks, canoes, powerboats, sailboats, and personal watercraft. Be aware that the lake experiences busy speedboat traffic, particularly during peak hours. Paddlers may find the best conditions during early morning or off-peak times when motorized boats are less active. The lake also supports fishing opportunities. If the main ramp is unavailable, nearby alternative access points include Proud Lake, Bass Lake, Cedar Island, Long Lake, and Union Lake.
