About This Access Site
Woodcock Lake Park offers **free access** to Woodcock Creek Lake via a well-maintained 70-foot wide paved boat ramp, making it an excellent launching point for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorized vessels. The facility is conveniently located near Saegertown in Crawford County, just minutes from I-79. Note that power boats are restricted to 10 H.P. motors maximum, and water skiing is prohibited, making this a quieter setting ideal for paddling.

The 333-acre summer pool provides ample water for exploration, though water levels can fluctuate due to the dam's water control operations. A fenced beach area is also available. Basic amenities include picnic shelters ($35/day reservation) and primitive camping ($18/site with port-a-johns available). The Pennsylvania Game Commission manages several hundred acres of wildlife habitat at the eastern end of the park, offering additional opportunities for fishing and wildlife viewing. For specific facility information, call (814) 763-4422.
