Put In rapid marks the start of this creek run, featuring a relatively straightforward entry point with minimal technical challenges. Paddlers should be aware of potential shallow rocks and debris near the railroad bridge abutments, which can create minor hydraulic features depending on water levels. While not a particularly demanding rapid, careful boat positioning and reading the water is recommended when launching into the initial flow.
