Most people take out at the Pembroke access, which also shortens and simplifies the shuttle. To get there from the flashing yellow light on Rt. 460, turn south on Cascade Dr., opposite the gas station and Tangent Outfitters. Turn left on Snidow St. and then take an immediate sharp right on River Rd. Cross the railroad tracks and then bear left into the boat ramp area. Boat ramp and plenty of parking, but no toilet.
