Third Jump

Southridge Ditch - S.76th to Root River Parkway (0.45 mile) **Access Issues** (WI)

Gauge Conditions
Runnable: 100.0 – 200.0 CFS

Likely minimal flow; likely too low for any reasonable whitewater experience.

Description

This 'jump' is visible on aerial views, and is scoutable directly across the street from 7830 W.Abbott Avenue.

This jump is in disrepair. Cracks formed between the cement slabs, and years of water seeping through those cracks eroded the dirt beneath the sloping right slab, which has now caved into the void. Dirt beneath the center slab is also substantially eroded, but this slab has not yet caved into it's void. IF/WHEN it does, this will be problematic, as the ~3' vertical face will likley remain in place, forcing water to split around it.

For this reason, it it important to SCOUT THIS LOCATION BEFORE PUTTING ON ABOVE IT!
