Description
Will take a lot of rain to get this section of the Toxaway up to boatable levels. Starts below an unrunnable waterfall called Raven Rock Falls. Run contains some steep blind spots & can be full of wood so be on your toes. Lots of the surrounding area is private property so use discretion. *From moheinous on Boatertalk, Sept 30,2002:* A two mile section of the Toxaway above Lake Toxaway was run friday by Craig Geist & Dean Scofield after an ungodly amount of rainfall in the area. It started below a 75' falls called Raven Rock Falls & ended at Lake Cardinal, a small lake above Lake Toxaway. The run contains alot of steep sliding blind drops and at least two portages. The final portage is a sixty foot cascade with a low footbridge.
