Emile Creek to Cavitt Creek Covered Bridge (10 miles): The stream has stretches of II-III water puncuated by class IV ledges or rapids. Some of the more challenging rapids can be seen from the road.

Cavitt Creek Covered Bridge to Colliding Rivers (7 miles): After Cavitt Creek the volume increases, while the gradient decreases. The II-III stretches get longer, but there are still some surprise horizon lines along this stretch.
