Creek: Wiley Creek is a beautiful creek with a couple of micro-gorges. Though a lot of the run is class III+ boogie water, there are several fun class IV drops requiring some technical moves. Because of the continuity of the run, blind corners, and possibility of wood/strainers, one needs solid class IV skills to paddle this run. Higher water makes this run more difficult due to the continuous nature of the rapids and the presence of wood. At lower levels there are lots of eddies to catch to boat scout most areas. The flume at Cascade Falls has reportedly sent paddlers airborne, and the mile below Cascade has several enjoyable ledges. Enjoy this mid-Cascade gem!

Access: Most of the year the put in lies 3 miles past a locked gate. The hike is along a gravel road and there is not much elevation gain, however 3 miles is still enough to turn some boaters off.
