Description
A short section (a mile or less) of steep gradient exists as this drops its final way to Lake Superior. While there may be good gradient upstream of the listed put-in, it is generally too wooded up to be worth the bother. This is one of the last runnable watersheds before the Grand Portage Indian Reservation (where you may be trespassing if found setting shuttle and running the rivers).
