Description
You will see this creek from the south side road on the way to the Meadow Creek Gorge on the South Fork Flathead. There may very well be good drops above and below this one... All I know is that this one rapid and steep hike out was well worth the effort. The rapid starts the instant you leave the micro eddy. Through the Natural Bridge down a steep, tricky slide into a plunge pool just above a 12-foot falls into a bowl exiting out a 5-foot pourover thing.... Whew!! It is sweet. Definitely an integral part of a high-water Meadow Creek Gorge mission. Check it out.
