Description
Students at UW-SP and other people living in the area around Stevens Point may become aware of a short complex stretch of gradient just downstream of the road and dam which form Jordan Pond. While it looks like it could be quite interesting, _it takes exstreme circumstances to have enough flow to be even marginally boatable_. In the odd freakish event that makes it doable, this will mostly be a bump and thump and scrape and crash down. However, before we cast this totally in the realm of 'fantasy boating' (a place to go 'sightsee' and say 'If ...', 'If ...' and 'If only ...'), we now have at least one boater reporting they've seen it runnable twice! (See 'Trip Reports'.)
