Description
Ed Evangelidi shared: Considering the heavy mining in the area, this is a very fine and nice novice run. The stream is small enough to have strainers and they could pose a problem as this creek is not a slow mover. A problem comes in finding a suitable takeout. Wills Creek is usually flowing much bigger and faster than Little Wills and it is hard to catch an eddy on it near the few lousy access points. Most of the Hyndman area has high man made banks due to the numerous floodings that this area has suffered through. Make sure you can handle the heavier flows on Wills Creek if you plan to boat it to get to a takeout. For more information, see Keystone Canoeing by Gertler.
