Jeff Mitchell sez:
"Schrader Creek is a beautiful stream located in a wilderness setting with very little development. Most of the creek is within state game lands. It is about 20-30 feet wide, a little smaller than the
Loyalsock, but just as beautiful. Strainers are few and what strainers do exist have been pushed up on the bank. Most rapids formed by boulders; some are quite large. The creek has many rapids, some continuous. Below Falls Creek, there is a long boulder garden. A few miles downstream the creek's channel narrows as it flows over a series of ledges. Average gradient is about 50 f/p/m."
