Description
Clam Shell is a powerful Class IV+ rapid with a technical entrance through a narrow, boulder-strewn channel that quickly funnels into a steep, hydraulic-laden drop. Paddlers must navigate precise lines between undercut rocks and aggressive holes, with minimal margin for error and the constant risk of getting pushed into the rapid's most dangerous features. A clean descent requires expert boat control and the ability to make quick, decisive moves in a high-consequence environment.
