Description
County Line Rapid is a technical Class III drop that requires precise boat positioning to navigate a series of diagonal and lateral waves midway through the rapid. Paddlers must thread between several large mid-stream boulders and stay alert to a powerful hydraulic on the river right side that can quickly flip an improperly lined boat. The rapid's challenge increases with water levels, so scouting from the bank and choosing the right channel is critical for a clean descent.
