Wolf - D) Sec.3: Langlade (Hwy 64) to Crab N Jack's Landing (3.9 or 10.3 miles) (WI)
~8"-15"; intermediate level.
The access is privately owned by Crab 'n Jack's, a supper club on the banks of the Wolf River (previously known as the Wild Wolf Inn). Park vehicles in the 'boater's parking' area they have graciously provided and don't drive your boat down to the shoreline. Carry your boat from the landing to your vehicle. If you have a dog with you, don't let it run around unleashed, and spend a few dollars at the bar and restaurant to thank the owners for providing this important access! The sandy landing area where you take out lies literally right at the county line! Do not pass this takeout unless you have paid the 'trespass fee' and received a wristband to enter the Menominee Nation. Tribal law provides that punishment for illegal trespass may include being fined, imprisoned, and/or impoundment of any and all gear used in committing the trespass (which could include not only your boating equipment, but also any vehicle(s) used to set shuttle for your illegal trespass!).
