Optional portage on the right.

8/19/24: The dam was impossible to raft. We had to portage. On the left side of the river there is a walking path but it is a bit harder to get up on. On the right its very easy to get on but you have to go through a lot of trees and grass and possible private land to get back on the river.

Left side would be suggested.
