Description
Double Knife is a technical Class IV rapid characterized by a tight, boulder-strewn channel with a series of powerful diagonal waves and sticky holes that demand precise boat positioning and momentum. The crux move involves threading between two large midstream boulders with a quick right-to-left transition, with the potential for serious consequence if a paddler gets pushed off line into the left-side recirculating hydraulic. Downstream scout recommended during moderate to high water levels.
