Description
Lower Big Hairy Bastard is a technical Class IV boulder garden rapid with numerous hidden holes and sharp-edged rock formations that demand precise navigation. Paddlers must carefully read and execute their line, avoiding powerful recirculating holes between large boulders and maintaining momentum through tight, complex channels. Swimmers should be prepared for potential pin hazards and aggressive hydraulics that can quickly overwhelm boaters who do not maintain full control.
