Description

The miles of river between the upper section and this section appear to be generally much less interesting. Aerial views do not show any shoals, and do appear to show many areas of heavily wooded shores, giving rise to many areas of deadfall and snags. In addition, there are significant areas of slackwater, including one pond backed up by a dam (which would need to be portaged). For these reasons, we do not recommend nor include those intervening miles, but resume with this section.
