Description
Putin rapid features a tight entry with a narrow channel between rocky outcroppings that quickly accelerates paddlers into a technical sequence of Class III drops. Paddlers should scout the right side of the rapid for a clean line through a series of offset holes and watch for a submerged boulder midstream that can create a potential pinning hazard at lower water levels.
