Description

The rapid at the confluence of the East and Taylor Rivers near Almont presents a complex braided entry with multiple channels and shifting water levels that can quickly change route selection. Paddlers should carefully scout for submerged rocks and be prepared to make dynamic route adjustments, particularly during spring runoff when water volume and velocity are at their peak.
