Description
Rock Pile is a technical Class II rapid characterized by a dense field of partially submerged boulders that require precise maneuvering and line selection. Paddlers must carefully navigate between and around the rocks, using eddies and avoiding potential pin spots, with the primary line typically running center-right at moderate to low water levels. At higher flows, the rapid becomes more pushy with increased water movement between the rocks, demanding heightened awareness and boat control.
