Description
The S-Curve Rapid features a technical, serpentine route through a narrow canyon with multiple sharp turns and powerful hydraulics. Paddlers must navigate a series of large diagonal waves and a potentially sticky hole near the center of the rapid, requiring precise boat positioning and strong maneuvering skills. The river right side offers a cleaner line, but demands careful approach and momentum to avoid recirculating features.
