Description

This rapid significantly changed during Hurricane Fred in 2021, and now a significant new sieve exists in the main flow encompassing the left half of the river. This can be seen at lower flows via careful boat scouting. The main flow compresses under a flat rock on the right side of the slot with a chock stone blocking the small exit from the slot. The far right slot provides reasonably safe passage around the sieve. Take home: do not run the main left line in this location.
