Description

Swimmer's Rapid features a technical entrance with a series of tight, offset boulder gardens that require precise boat positioning and quick maneuvering. The main channel splits around a large midstream rock, creating asymmetrical hydraulics that can easily catch inexperienced paddlers off-guard, with a particularly sticky hole on the river-right side that can potentially flip boats or trap swimmers.
