Description
Take Out is a portage rapid at the end of the Eagle Creek whitewater run, marking the transition from river to lake and signaling the conclusion of the paddling journey. Paddlers must carefully exit the river and carry their boats to Fontana Lake, with attention to terrain and potential obstacles during the transition. While not a technical rapid in the traditional sense, successful navigation requires careful planning and boat handling skills.
