Take Out

Getting out of the Emory at Oakdale is aided by a creek that flows from the takeout parking to the river.  When you see the town and bridge, paddle into the woods on river left and find the mouth of the creek.  Paddle/wade up the creek underneath the railroad.  You can wade upstream under the second bridge but it may be easier to get out on creek right and carry your boat over that road to the park where the cars are.
