About This Access Site
The Attica boat ramp, located at Ouabache Park in Fountain County, provides convenient access to the Wabash River for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters. The facility features a paved concrete boat ramp with ample parking and is situated within an 18-acre park adjacent to the river. Public restrooms (including handicap-accessible facilities) are available on-site, making this a comfortable launching point for day trips or longer paddling adventures.

Ouabache Park offers additional amenities that make it ideal for extended visits, including four tent campsites with running water, fire rings, and grills. The nearby town of Attica has fast food and grocery options within about a half-mile walk, so you can stock up on supplies before heading out. The Wabash River at this location is a large, flowing waterway suitable for various paddle craft and motorboats. Be aware that the access area can be somewhat difficult to locate on first visits—using GPS or mapping applications with the coordinates (40.29271225, -87.25732359) is recommended.
