About This Access Site
**Location & Access:** Brukart Landing, officially known as Silver Creek Boat Landing, provides public access to the McKenzie River east of Springfield on Highway 126 (0.8 miles east of mile marker 33). The site features a concrete boat ramp and parking for approximately 4 cars with trailers. There are no fees to use the facility, and it is not reservable. Note that ADA accessible facilities are not available at this location.

**River Character & Use:** This landing serves as a popular put-in or take-out point for paddlers and anglers on the McKenzie River, which offers Class II-III+ whitewater suitable for kayaks and rafts at flows between 600-6000 cfs. The site is frequently used as an endpoint for float trips starting upstream at Hendricks Bridge County Park or as a take-out for downriver runs toward Armitage Park. The river in this section is known for trout fishing opportunities.

**Facilities & Conditions:** The concrete ramp remains functional following 2020 wildfire impacts that affected the surrounding area. A vault restroom is available on-site. Several campgrounds within 10 miles (including Sunnyside and French Pete) offer overnight lodging options for multi-day trips. Before launching, check current water conditions and flows at the USGS gauge station downstream at Vida.
