Camp Newwood County Park offers a convenient boat landing on the Wisconsin River, located 10 miles northwest of Merrill along scenic Highway 107. The park features a dedicated boat ramp/landing suitable for kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. This 16-acre facility includes a hand water pump for potable water, pit toilets, picnic areas, grills, and hiking trails—making it a functional stop for paddlers accessing the Wisconsin River.
The park operates as a day-use area and campground, with primitive campsites available for overnight stays (fees apply).
