Harvest Lane (also known as Rodakowski Landing) is a 22-acre natural area providing public boat access to the McKenzie River in Springfield. The site features a small parking lot and boat ramp maintained by Lane County Parks. This is a popular put-in location for kayakers and canoeists looking to paddle the McKenzie River corridor. The access point is conveniently located near Springfield and easy to reach via the Beltline, taking Gateway east to Harlow, then left on Harvest Lane.
For paddlers planning a river trip, note that the primary take-out spot is located approximately downriver at **Armitage Park**, situated on the south side of the river just under the I-5 bridge. Armitage Park offers more extensive amenities including restrooms, picnic tables, parking, and other recreational facilities. Several campgrounds are available within 10 miles of the area if you're planning an extended visit. Water conditions on the McKenzie River vary seasonally, so check current flow and weather conditions before launching.
