**Access & Facilities**
Hazard's Ramp at Ross Dock in Englewood Cliffs provides convenient launch access for both car-top boats (kayaks and canoes) and trailered boats under 24 feet. The ramp features a sandy beach area and was historically improved in 1914 with protective stone jetties, making it a reliable launching point regardless of seasonal conditions. To reach the ramp, take Route 9W or the Palisades Interstate Parkway to Palisades Avenue in Englewood/Englewood Cliffs, head east down the hill to the boat basin, and follow the road north to the sandy beach area.
**Current Access Information**
Note that Henry Hudson Drive is currently closed to all vehicles, bicycles, and pedestrians from the entrance to Englewood Picnic Area north to Undercliff Picnic Area. If you're accessing this site, use the Edgewater Park entrance for Ross Dock. The Englewood Cliffs park entrance (Dyckman Hill Road) remains closed. Contact the Palisades Interstate Park Commission for the most up-to-date information before your visit.
