About This Access Site
This access site on the Black River near the Interstate 94 bridge offers both motorized and non-motorized launch options. A free launch area is available outside the gated parking lot on Dunkley Avenue for kayakers and canoeists, while an improved boat ramp is accessible within the gated lot for a $7 fee. The site includes helpful amenities such as restrooms, a fish cleaning station, and a vending machine.

**Important note for all boaters:** The waters around the I-94 bridge are designated as a no-wake zone extending 600 feet southeast to 800 feet northwest of the bridge. When arriving, follow posted one-way traffic signs that direct you around the north side of the former marina building, then continue around the east side to access the launch areas. This location provides convenient access to the Black River with facilities suitable for paddlers and small boat operators.
