About This Access Site
The Jodie access point is located on river left immediately upstream of the Little Elk Creek confluence, approximately 1 mile downstream of Upper Swiss in Fayette County. This West Virginia Department of Natural Resources (WVDNR) maintained site provides access to the scenic Gauley River, a 25-mile free-flowing waterway known for its whitewater paddling and natural beauty through gorges and valleys.
