About This Access Site
**Location & Access:** Silver Creek Boat Landing is located on the McKenzie River east of Springfield on Highway 126, approximately 0.8 miles east of mile marker 33, between Hendricks Bridge and Finn Rock. The site offers a concrete boat ramp suitable for motorized and non-motorized watercraft, with paved parking available. There are no fees for access, and the facility is open year-round. For more information, contact Lane County Parks at 541-683-6600.

**Paddling Conditions:** This landing provides excellent access to the McKenzie River, a scenic waterway known for trout fishing and diverse paddling opportunities. The river in this section transitions from Class III+ to Class II+ waters, making it suitable for both novice and experienced paddlers. The landing serves as a popular put-in point for float trips downriver toward Armitage Park or as a takeout for trips starting at Hendricks Bridge. Water flows typically range from 600-6000 CFS; check the USGS gauge at Vida before launching.

**Facilities & Limitations:** Please note that this facility does not have ADA-accessible amenities. The site was affected by the 2020 wildfires, and while the concrete ramp remains in good condition, some features including the interpretive area and Silver Creek footbridge are no longer available. For camping, Lookout Campground and Boat Launch (Willamette) is located within 10 miles and offers reservable sites.
