The ramp is located on a major river system with substantial flow (averaging over 10,500 cubic feet per second) and a moderate gradient of 1.5 feet per mile, making it suitable for various paddling and boating activities. When using this facility, follow the one-way traffic signs that direct you around the north side of the former marina building, then continue along the east side and pull up on the south side to launch.
