About This Access Site
The Plum Boat Ramp is a free access point on the Snoqualmie River near Fall City, offering both a sandy beach launch area and a dedicated boat ramp for larger watercraft. This is a popular put-in for recreational paddlers and boaters, so arrive early during peak seasons as the small beach can fill up quickly. If the main area is crowded, Plum #1 River Access Point is located just a quarter-mile upstream along SE Fish Hatchery Road and offers an alternative launch option.

The ramp accommodates kayaks, canoes, and larger inflatables, pontoon boats, and drift boats. Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife maintains a portable toilet at the site. From here, paddlers can enjoy a leisurely 3.3-mile float downriver to the Falls City Bridge (approximately three hours), making it an ideal starting point for recreational trips on this section of the Snoqualmie. Note that steelhead fishing on the main stem is generally open September 1st through December 31st, so expect increased activity during these months.
