About This Access Site
Water Street provides convenient access to the Black River in Port Huron, featuring Boat Landing 2—an improved launch facility with paved approaches and concrete plank ramps suitable for trailered watercraft. The site includes 158 parking spaces and restroom facilities. A $7 fee applies for use of the motorized boat launch ramps, though a free non-motorized carry-in launching area is also available near a large willow tree at the park entrance (accessible via Dyckman Avenue). The parking lot outside the pay gate is free to use.

This ADA-accessible site welcomes kayakers, canoeists, and boaters of all abilities. Paddlers can use the facility to access the Black River and explore the natural scenery along this water corridor. The location is within walking distance of downtown Port Huron's boutiques and dining options, making it a convenient base for both paddling adventures and waterfront exploration. The developed infrastructure and accessible design make this a practical choice for various boating activities and skill levels.
