Angel's Field is a technical Class III+ rapid characterized by a steep gradient and a series of powerful, closely-spaced hydraulics that demand precise boat handling and quick decision-making. The rapid features a narrow entry with a large diagonal rock creating a challenging initial move, followed by a complex sequence of waves and holes that can quickly flip an unprepared paddler, with the primary line requiring a tight right-to-left move to avoid recirculating features near the center channel.
