Description

Bald Mountain rapid features a tight, technical entry with a series of sharp diagonal waves that can quickly push boats toward undercut rocks on river right. The main line requires precise boat positioning to thread between two prominent midstream boulders and avoid a recirculating hole at the bottom of the rapid, with the most critical move being an early left-to-right move to set up the final descent.
