Description
Cyclone Drop features a tight, technical entrance with a series of diagonal waves that demand precise boat positioning and quick maneuvering. The rapid's centerline contains a powerful hydraulic that can easily flip boats if paddlers do not maintain momentum and select a clean route through the main current. Experienced boaters should scout the entrance from river right and be prepared to execute tight eddy turns to avoid potential pin hazards near the mid-section's exposed boulder field.
